What's new in Agent Anything

Here are our latest updates and what's coming next.

v1.7.0August 2026

Connect your own tools, under policy

  • Add your own approved tools to agents without engineering help, using standard sign-in or key-based authentication.
  • Credentials are held in a protected vault and scoped to the right level of access.
  • Every connection carries a clear policy, so agents only act when the rules allow it.
  • Setup and lifecycle issues fail closed and surface as clear, bounded guidance.
  • Help content and operator guidance updated to cover connectors end to end.
v1.6.2August 2026

Sharing, composing, and moving on mobile

  • Thinktank sharing now returns semantic receipts, preserves Markdown, and shows resilient progress while notes are distilled and published.
  • The chat composer uses the full available width and accepts clipboard-pasted images.
  • Memory integrations use Memory Box branding throughout the product.
  • iPhone chat has compact chrome, a sticky in-thread identity/status row, a shorter composer, and vertical-only outer scrolling.
v1.6.1July 2026

Artifacts you can trust

  • Generated artifact versions are immutable and delivered exactly once.
  • Newly uploaded attachments open natively from the Library, with durable storage and a reliable fallback for older files.
  • HTML artifacts now include static Preview and exact Source views; scripts, navigation, and network access are intentionally disabled for security.
  • Fleet card layout, long attachment filenames, and History titles from continued work are more resilient.
v1.6.0July 2026

Diagrams and documents that just work

  • Diagrams written inside a conversation now render as clean visuals in the artifact pane and carry through to print.
  • PDFs open directly in the app, with faster and more consistent viewing across browsers.
  • Export any artifact to a polished PDF that matches exactly what you see on screen.
  • Broader reliability improvements to artifact viewing, downloads, and sharing status.
v1.5.0July 2026

A clearer, more flexible workspace

  • A refreshed chat experience with tighter agent details and more deliberate message spacing.
  • Live model conferences run in a dedicated theater that shows the exchange as it happens and keeps synthesis actions close at hand.
  • Resize the chat and artifact split by drag or keyboard; rendered documents use more of the available width.
  • One certificate icon opens the complete witness receipt for any result.
  • Progress updates now match your role: administrators keep full technical detail, everyone else gets plain-language status.
  • A stronger iPhone experience with a more compact header and composer and correct scrolling throughout.
v1.4.2July 2026

Stability

  • Fixed an issue that could interrupt a conversation before it finished settling.
v1.4.1July 2026

Better guidance, more dependable delivery

  • The in-app Help library was rewritten to match the shipped product, covering privacy, roles, memory, schedules, files, sharing, and evidence.
  • A new guide explains model consultations end to end, including panels, conferences, and approvals.
  • Scheduled results publish more reliably, with each result delivered exactly once.
  • Scheduled delivery to Slack now fails closed for anything private or unresolved.
  • Improvements to stopping an interrupted turn, selecting artifact versions, and continuing long-running work.
v1.4.0July 2026

Governed model consultation and a real working surface

  • Agents can consult approved models without moving you to another chat surface, with model attribution, policy evaluation, receipts, and budget limits on every consultation.
  • Bounded conferences support visible back-and-forth, live streaming, human-set exchange limits, and a final synthesis card.
  • Conversations, artifacts, and model conferences now share one coherent work surface, with resilient handling of long turns and pinned files that carry over.
  • Private by construction: sessions, threads, approvals, files, and live streams are isolated to the exact person and session, and file libraries are owner-only for every role, administrators included.
Earlier releases
  • v1.3.1July 2026

  • v1.2.3July 2026

The running release version is now visible in-product on the Help page.

  • v1.2.2July 2026

Work with several agents at once: switch agents mid-turn, and live activity survives navigation.

An app-like mobile experience, automatic catch-up after backgrounding, and clearer guidance on how information flows between agents and the shared commons.

  • v1.2.0July 2026

Slack identity linking for organizations with more than one email domain.
